my birthday is coming very soon~~ tommorrow!!

Suprisingly, i'm not so excited about my birthday this year. Main reason, I think, is because election day fall on my birthday. Everyone around me just get so excited about it, which is a great attitude if you see it in a way for the sake of "political and social awareness".

I always like to remind everyone about my birthday before it comes. I remember when i was young (well, i'm still young now. 22 is not that old....right?), i used to tell everyone 2 months in advance before my birthday so everyone will be awared of it. My intention wasn't want them to give me presents. Apparently, i did that just for fun. Then everyone will laughed at me and said :"there is no 8th in March!"

Haha....quite a silly joke, yet, we enjoyed it very much.

Before 10, i celebrated my birthday with my family.

After 10, i celebrated my birthday with my friends. (because my first birthday party was held at my house when i was 11)

I'm 22 now. Am i going to celebrate my birthday ONLY with my bf? It is not a bad thing coz i've been wishing this to happen every since i started desperately wanted to get a boyfriend. Dunno why, he seems very distracted lately. Never even say :"someone birthday is coming~~"

Don't get me wrong. I din say this because i want him to give me a great birthday party.

The truth is, I was worried whether he put too much effort or pressure on himself for giving me THE PERFECT BIRHDAY or to suprise me. I can't help much at his work and the last thing i wouldn't want him to feel is that having a girlfriend is a burden for him.. I know his is very stress lately because he is going to do new things in his work, which he is not familiar and confident with it. I just wish he can do well. I'll be fine Fei~~ don't worry about me.

For me, birthday is a day to remember the suffer my mom gained when she gave birth to me. It is known as "母难日"-means, the day our mothers suffer. This is what we chinese believe. I never show my love to my mom, in fact, i was too shy to do so and i always make her angry or worry instead of making her happy. I think i never kiss my mom before. I guess this is just the way i am. But i know i'll give her the best when i'm capable to do so. Now, i'll try not to make her piss off. Most importantly, i wish she is proud of what i am now.

I admit that i love present. But, without it i'm also happy as long as i get wishes from my friends or even a simple "Happy Birthday!". Just don't want to trouble anyone.

I'm enclosing a vidoe clip which taken by Frances last year on my birthday. I celebrated my 21th birthday with my friends at her place. Same old tactic i used on Kelly's 20th birhtday, they cooked to me last year. And it was my 1st birthday i celebrated with Seng Fei. He gave me a special-made 21st birthday cake as you can see in the video. My fellow friends gave me a Fossil watch. Enjoy the clip!! How will my 22nd birthday be this year? We'll see~~
